I love food. Especially food that is super easy to make! Bubble up pizza is delicious and soooo simple! Plus it's Italian-y so I get to hear J call it Chef Boy-ar-Babe lol. For tonight's recipe I didn't get too crazy with the toppings, just pepperoni and green peppers. For the cheese, I like to mix in 6 cheese Italian because I love the extra flavor it gives the mozzarella, but of course you don't have to add it if you don't want it. I also like to add extra Italian seasoning because I like seasonings and it looks fancy. But here's the recipe!
For this recipe you will need: -1 can of biscuits -2 cups mozzarella -Optional additional 1/2 cup of 6 cheese shredded Italian -15 oz. of your choice of pizza sauce -Pepperoni, chopped ham, sausage, green pepper, onions whatever you want to add (make sure if it is raw meat it is cooked before you put it in the oven) -Optional Italian seasonings |
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 and then grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
Step 2: Tear biscuits into smaller pieces, I try to get 8 pieces from each biscuit
Step 3: Mix your pizza sauce and biscuits together in the bowl then add them to your greased dish making an even layer on the bottom.
Step 4: Add your shredded cheese on top of the sauce and biscuit mixture
*Alternative Step 4: before adding cheese add some of your toppings on top of the sauce and biscuits first (chopped ham and sausage are the best to kinda put in the nooks and crannies!) and then add cheese.
Step 5: Add your toppings and some Italian seasoning then put in the oven for 25-35 minutes. Once you get to the 27 minute mark just keep an eye on it, ovens cook so differently!
Step 6: Let it cool so you don't fry your mouth and enjoy!!! We always serve with Shakey Cheese (Parmesan), hot sauce, and ranch dressing on the side.
